Antonio Figueroa

Born and raised in Miami, FL, I have always been surrounded by different cultures and viewpoints. This upbringing has facilitated my interest not only in international politics, but also in communications between people who speak the same language. An understanding of what is being conveyed by those from different countries only comes through effective comprehension. Attending the nation's largest multicultural university and being engaged in the community has enabled a better comprehension of my surroundings. Through proper identification of some of the world's most prevalent cultures, my grasp of communications and message tailoring has allowed me to encounter new perspectives and practice effective communication techniques.
